Rev. Benjamin Chelladurai and Dr. Jayanthi Benjamin, co-founders of New Life Family Ministry, are a devoted couple whose passion for empowering Indian families to embrace Christ-centered living is evident in their extensive experience in marriage and family ministry. With decades of combined expertise, they focus on marriage coaching, family discipleship, and pastoral care, drawing from their own successful journey as a married couple and their deep commitment to faith.

The Mission of New Life Family Ministry, is to engage with Indian couples and the wider community, equipping them with vital skills and empowering them with the Biblical solutions and practical resources. Our goal is to strengthen marriages and families that will leave a lasting legacy for Christ, rooted in the truth of Ephesians 4:22-24.

Rev. Benjamin Chelladurai

Rev. Benjamin Chelladurai is a seasoned leader in the field of marriage and family ministry, with a distinguished career that includes serving as the Vice President and CFO at the College of Biblical Studies in Houston, and previously as the Director of Finance at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. With a Master’s degree in Biblical Studies and ordination in Pastoral Ministry, Benjamin specializes in teaching, pastoral counseling, and mentoring. His wealth of knowledge and experience equips him to guide couples and families toward living fulfilling lives rooted in biblical principles. Together with his wife, he is dedicated to fostering strong marriages and resilient families, drawing on their own 44-year journey to inspire hope, healing, and growth in others.

Dr. Jayanthi Benjamin

Dr. Jayanthi Benjamin is an accomplished academic and counselor, recognized for her significant contributions to marriage and family counseling. As Dean and Professor of Discipleship at the College of Biblical Studies in Houston, she has shaped the future of many aspiring ministers and counselors. Previously, she held the position of Director of Field Education and Assistant Professor at Moody Theological Seminary in Chicago. Dr. Jayanthi holds a doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Counseling, and her work focuses on the unique challenges faced by Indian families. Her expertise in psychology and spiritual formation enables her to offer holistic, faith-based guidance that empowers couples and families to navigate life’s complexities. With a heart for ministry and a commitment to teaching practical, biblical truths, Dr. Jayanthi strives to bring hope and transformation to those she serves.
